Ornate Interiors has recently become a corporate sponsor of The Theatres Trust, an organisation that champions theatres across the UK.
Ornate Interiors’ MD Ronnie Clifford commented: “We have helped to restore many theatres back to their former glories up and down the country over the past 25 years and I’ve always considered these special venues as important and essential to the fabric of community life.
“The ceiling collapse at the Apollo Theatre in London last December was a stark reminder as to the importance of restoring these magnificent, historic buildings professionally and effectively.
“We are just doing our bit by becoming a corporate sponsor and it will allow us to keep abreast of what is going on in Theatreland as well as support The Theatres Trust work in protecting architecture,” added Ronnie.
The Theatres Trust was established in 1976 through The Theatres Trust Act. In 1978 The Theatres Trust (Scotland) Act extended the Trust’s remit to Scotland. The Theatres Trust employs nine staff and is governed by its fifteen trustees who are appointed by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
